“A great paradox !!”

I chose this Hotel because it was close to Tate modern , the gallery we wanted to visit on the Sunday after visiting the RA on the Saturday having traveled down from the Birmingham area. Initially we were disturbed by the room being like a high tech prison cell.

The reality for 60 + something's who need to pee twice a night the bed was not ideal as exiting required tripping over each other !! However, leaving today I was becoming to love this place. It is trendy, arty and egalitarian in its DNA leaving us feeling a bit younger than we were !!!!!!!!!!!!!

“High tech, Low cost”

Great room, huge bed, great tech in the room, great hotel, great staff, amazing artwork, amazing cocktails. Great location, great price. Will definitely go back on my next visit to London for a west end show.

“Overnight stay”

All the services were good apart from the air conditioning in the rooms and no ventilation allowed which felt really hot and not able to sleep. Breakfast service was good and overall experience was really good and quick.

“Cool designed”

We loved it. Cool design although the rooms are small but very modern. Personnel at reception is very helpful. Also, the shower was perfect and the view by the bed. Rooms were clean. Hope I'll be able to come again.

“What an amazing & quirky hotel”

We booked Citizen M after it being recommended to us. We had our wedding party nearby & didn’t want to travel home at 3.30am when it finished. We had been to see the hotel before we booked it & really liked it, it’s very different & quirky.

All the staff were so friendly & helpful especially as I was in plaster & on crutches after tearing my Achilles heel in Malta at our main wedding celebrations. We didn’t really get to use all the gadgets in the room as it was so late when we got back. We had other friends & family staying there who did use the gadgets & loved them. We would definitely recommend Citizen M & would definitely stay again. W heard the cocktails were really good as well.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed.
Very nice and modern design, good sense of humour, and a good coffee during breakfast instead what's served usually.
Very convenient location close to London Bridge and Borough Market.

“Excellent anniversary stay”

This hotel is in a superb location for access to the underground, borough market, the shard etc.

The rooms are snug yet feel roomy with high ceilings and huge beds. The shower could use a little more power but it did what it's supposed to do and given the good value for money, who could really complain?

The whole hotel setup is very aesthetically pleasing, modern and colourful with a nice atmosphere downstairs and they got us checked in within about 10 seconds, no exaggeration.

My only comment is that it was our wedding anniversary which I emailed them about in advance and it would have been nice for them to mention/acknowledge but it really is first world problems.

Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

“Amazing stay!”

My partner and I stayed at citizenM London Bankside hotel for 5 nights in July 2019. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish — so much so, that if I could rate them 6/5 stars I definitely would!

Paula and her team of super “ambassadors” were professional, friendly, helpful, kind, caring and fun.

Such a difference to your typical hotel environment. It makes all the difference when you stay in a place that truly feels like a home away from home.

This hotel is very well located, being a 2 min walk to the Tate Modern, the Thames and the Millennium Bridge. This means you have easy access to St Paul’s and the surrounding London inner city, but are also a stroll from the amazing South Bank which takes you past many pubs, restaurants and bars along the river down to the London Eye. London Bridge underground is within walking distance, as is the Clipped ferry service from Bankside pier.

We loved the giant, double volume living room which contains the canteen, 24 hour bar and plenty of stylish art and furniture. All so comfortable while looking good at the same time.

The room may be compact, but it comes loaded with all the mod cons one needs — giant kingsize bed, rain shower, great Movies ree and fast WiFi.

The hotel also kindly stored our luggage for 2 nights while we were in Alton Towers. Thank you again for an amazing stay!
